Self-Defense & Situational Awareness Training
There are not enough law enforcement officers to protect each one of us, every hour of the day. At times, we find ourselves in situations, either at work or with our families, where we must act. These situations can make us feel slightly uneasy or extremely threatened and may force us to either defend ourselves or do nothing, hoping that everything turns out ok.
We can teach you how to become more situationaly aware; after our training, you will:
Recognize when a situation is dangerous or is about to become that way, so you can avoid them.
Learn how to recognize behaviors in individuals that isn't normal and may signal some type of threat or other issue.
Become more observant of what is going on around you.
Avoiding a confrontation or a threatening situation is the goal, but there may be times when that isn't possible. We teach self-defense techniques that are easy to learn, easy to remember, and that work. Our techniques are based on natural body movements and are taught in a manner that ensures no one is injured; the techniques are tailored to each individual's ability. The training helps you work towards making the techniques instinctive.
These classes are based on the premise of avoiding a confrontation if possible, avoiding being hit if necessary, and only using the self-defense techniques when they are needed.
